Our prime fresh Grass Fed Rump Steak comes from just the one farm in the Trent Valley in Nottinghamshire. The beef is grazed on open fields next to the Trent and fed a wholesome natural grass and red clover diet.
Our Trent Valley Grass Fed Rump Steaks are both full of flavour and tender – a wonderful combination. And we think, probably the best steak you can buy!
The rump steak is from the lower back, as the name suggests, with a degree of fat content that is so important for enhancing the flavour of this steak as well as the melt in the mouth tenderness. Rump steaks are best cooked medium rare to medium.
And there is more to this story… Our fresh grass fed rump steak is reared completely naturally, no hormones or industrial grain feeds in sight. The steak is matured for some three weeks to both tenderise and bring out the rich beef flavour. You will taste the difference!
Not only is the beef naturally reared on grass but also no chemicals or fertiliser is sprayed onto the grass – all is completely natural.
It takes about twice as long to rear our beef as opposed to cheaper factory farmed beef you buy on the high street. Our beef has a completely natural fresh grass diet, rich in sugars and nutrients. Consequently, the cattle grow slowly, at a natural pace, with lean tender nutrient dense meat.
Our Trent Valley Rump Steaks are both full of flavour and and buttery tender – a wonderful combination. And we think, probably the best steak you can buy!
